The FJMC Foundation for Jewish Life

Assuring the Future of the FJMC

In 2003, the FJMC created THE FJMC FOUNDATION FOR JEWISH LIFE, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The purpose of the Foundation is to support the activities, aims and mission of the FJMC, and to provide funding for activities that will enhance Jewish life now and in the future. The Foundation is currently emphasizing the raising of funds to create an endowment for future support of the FJMC and Jewish Community as a whole.

The Foundation will accept donations in any amount, and any person contributing $2,500 or more will be designated as a Fellow of the Foundation. Donors will be recognized as such in FJMC publications and publications of the FJMC Foundation for Jewish Life.

  • ABRAHAM FELLOWS - Just as Abraham was the founder of the Jewish people, so too will Abraham Fellows be at the forefront of the founding of the Foundation. Abraham Fellows begin with a donation of $25,000 or more.
  • KING SOLOMON FELLOWS - As King Solomon was the builder of the Temple, so too will King Solomon Fellows help build the Foundation. King Solomon Fellows are donors contributing between $10,000 and $24,999.
  • JOSHUA FELLOWS - Joshua led the Jewish people into the Promised Land, and Joshua Fellows will help lead the Foundation's development. Joshua Fellows are open to donors contributing between $5,000 and $9,999.
  • HENANI FELLOWS - When God called to Abraham, he answered, "Henani - here I am." Here is your opportunity to answer "Henani." Henani Fellows are open to donors contributing between $2,500 and $4,999.

All donations are tax deductible, as the FJMC Foundation for Jewish Life is a (501)(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The Foundation is governed by a nine-person Board of Directors. Five of these nine Directors are members of the FJMC Executive Committee. All funds will be invested, and only a portion of the income will be used to support grants from the Foundation. Special named fund opportunities also exist. The Foundation will accept unrestricted or restricted donations.
