If you, someone in your club, or someone in your region has a skill which isn't being used on behalf of Men's Club, but you/they might be willing to use that skill on behalf of the international FJMC, here is a way to get involved.  Below is a list of jobs which need to be filled, and who to contact to speak about volunteering.  Check back frequently, as additional areas of responsibility are being posted weekly.

Whether you make yourself available to a friend or co-worker, or you make time every month to do volunteer work, there is nothing that harvests more of a feeling of empowerment than being of service to someone in need."  Gillian Anderson  [An American actress, best known for her role as Special Agent Dana Scully in the TV series The X-Files.]
  • "Research has shown that people who volunteer often live longer."  Allen Klein  [An American businessman, talent agent and record label executive. Working for Sam Cooke, he created the new role of ‘business manager’, negotiating with the record companies in his client’s interest.]

Do you love to proofread and digest articles?  Do you suffer from many sleepless nights?  Over the years, the Torch Award program has come up with some incredible programs for clubs to emulate and adapt.  Over the last couple of years, we've posted them on-line, but there is a need to digest what they are, and create 'keywords' so that they are more useful to search and find.  This job will fill those sleepless nights with a productive task, and clubs you've never existed will appreciate your work.

Has anyone told you YOU have a beautiful voice?  We're looking for a couple to three people who would like to use their voice to record the Unraveller, make podcasts out of them, so that we can reach a different audience from those that like to read them.  [Anyone who thought that audiobooks wouldn't become a success needn't apply.]  If you think that you have a melodic voice, send a sample of your voice reading a paragraph of one of the recent issues of the Unraveller, to the email address to the right.  [Everyone's computer can create a .mp3, an audio file.  If you don't know how to do it, look it up on the internet, and if all else fails, contact FJMCCommunications at the email address.]
