Meet the Officer: Myles Simpson, International President
Myles Simpson, incoming International President of the FJMC, has held numerous leadership positions at the club, Regional, and International levels before acceding to his current office. He has served as president of the Temple Etz Chaim Men's Club in Thousand Oaks, CA, as well as president of the FJMC Western Region, chairman of the Shoah Yellow Candle Program, and chairman of the FJMC Foundation for Jewish Life. He also chaired the 2011 FJMC International Convention team that put together a very successful event in Costa Mesa, CA.
At Temple Etz Chaim, Myles has served on the Temple Board of Directors for several years, including stints as Temple President (from 2006-08) and as chair of the search committees for the Temple’s Rabbi and Chazzan.
Myles recently retired from a career at Boeing, where he worked as an engineering manager. He and his wife Gail, one of the leaders in the International Movement of Zionist Women and the Program Chair of this year’s Na’amat Convention, have been married 43 years and have been blessed with three sons and four grandsons.
