A Conversation & L'Chaim with Natan Sharansky & Gil Troy

FJMC and Wine on the Vine Present: A Conversation and L'Chaim with Natan Sharansky and Gil Troy

Sunday December 13 at 3:00

Please join us On December 13, 2020 at 3 pm, when the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs presents a webinar direct from Israel with Natan Sharansky and Gil Troy. They will discuss their new book “Never Alone: Prison, Politics and My People.” with Rabbi Elliot J. Cosgrove, Park Avenue Synagogue NY, moderator.

Natan Sharansky, a leading activist in the democratic dissident movement in the Soviet Union and the movement for free Jewish emigration, was arrested by the KGB. He spent 9 years as a political prisoner, convicted of treason against the state. His story is suffused with reflections from his time as a political prisoner, from his seat at the table as history unfolded in Israel and the Middle East, and from his passionate efforts to unite the Jewish people.

Please note that when you purchase a vine at the link below from Wine on the Vine for $18 you are registered for the event and will get the Zoom info. Remember to list your region.

Wine on the Vine is an exciting new program from The Israel Innovation Fund, a non-profit foundation that supports Israeli agriculture, arts and entertainment, and the FJMC. Purchasing vines to be planted at Israeli wineries from Wine on the Vine is the perfect way to honor people or life cycle events while simultaneously raising money for Israeli charities as well as for FJMC including your club. Once you try it, we know you will love it. We would appreciate your help for a strong turnout for this exciting and informative event.
